All transportation included during this workshop and a car rental is not needed ($400 savings) . The workshop begins and concludes in St. George, UT. Transportation will also be provided for you from St. George airport or St. George Shuttle and your hotel.
Getting to St. George, UT:
Option 1: Fly to Las Vegas and shuttle to St. George. Shuttles are available at St. George Shuttle with many available times. This option is generally the most economical.
Option 2: Fly directly to St. George Airport. This option is generally more expensive and limited by flights.
Meals are not included on this photo tour. We’ll be making time for meals each day but plan on bringing snacks for mornings or late evenings. A complete itinerary will be provided upon registration.
You must be able to handle, carry and transport all of your photography equipment during the workshop. We’ll primarily be shooting near the vehicle and no more than 100 feet away on dirt roads and uneven surfaces.
Several locations will be reached by short hikes over uneven terrain, less than 1 mile. There are no strenuous hikes on this photo tour.
Please have basic understanding of the exposure triangle (ISO, aperture & shutter speed and be familiar with your camera’s operation at the minimum. If you’re comfortable with your camera and have an understanding of ISO, aperture and shutter speed, you’ll be in a good place to learn and create on this photo tour.

- Various lenses. We generally use anything from an ultra wide-angle to medium telephoto. Rarely do we ever need anything wider than 14mm.
- Tripod
